Fishburn Hedges has worked with the DfES since 2001 to launch 'Get On', the first government campaign targeting the millions of people in England with poor reading, writing and maths skills.
The campaign is focused around generating coverage which encourages potential learners to sign up for free courses. Media relations activity has ranged from working with a host of celebrities, including Nell McAndrew, Phil Tufnell, Richard Hammond and Andy Fordham, through to an extensive programme of sourcing real life case studies and placing them in consumer magazines.
We also run a programme to engage with the education community to encourage providers run local marketing campaigns. To support this we have created promotional materials, marketing toolkits, mailings and provide a campaign office phone line and email.
