Fishburn Hedges was appointed as Sainsbury’s public affairs advisors in March 2005, with the job of supporting its business growth strategy. The main focus of activity has been ensuring Sainsbury’s is recognised as a leading player in the national debate about nutrition and healthy eating. This has included promoting Active Kids and Taste of Success to political stakeholders and ensuring that the 'Wheel of Health' nutritional labelling on Sainsbury’s products is recognised as best of breed and supported by the FSA and other stakeholders. Sainsbury’s approach was approved by the FSA recently when it announced its preference for multiple traffic light labelling like the Wheel of Health.
