We were appointed to work on a national internal communication and change programme around the government’s £2.3 billion IT investment in the NHS, we built a robust communication strategy and implementation plan to support the introduction of electronic booking and choice for hospital appointments.
Our work began with extensive stakeholder research on which we based messages, mechanisms and materials to prepare and enrol target audiences (particularly GPs) to adopt the new technology. The strength of this initial work resulted in our appointment to implement our recommendations in practice.
