Fishburn Hedges expands network of senior advisors with three appointments

As featured in PR Week today, Fishburn Hedges announces the appointment of three new senior industry figures - Phil Collins, Tim Johns and John Longworth - as members of its advisory panel.

Phil Collins is a columnist and leader writer at The Times, as well as a speechwriter and communications consultant who was worked with some of the UK’s leading companies. Phil is a former speechwriter to Tony Blair, as well as having been a director of the Social Market Foundation and having worked in the City.

Tim Johns is the former vice-president of global corporate communications at Unilever. A leader in corporate communications, Tim spend nearly six years at Unilever and had previously held senior roles at BT, Homebase and Sainsbury’s.

John Longworth is a non-executive director of the Co-operative Group, a member of the Competition Commission Panel and a non-executive director of Nichols plc. John is the former head of corporate affairs at Asda and, prior to that, a director of Tesco.

The three will join existing advisor Professor Alan Knight in providing senior counsel to Fishburn Hedges and its clients.

Last month Fishburn Hedges announced that it had entered into a partnership with leading editorial agency, Mendozamedia, run by award-winning editor Morice Mendoza.
